Hi I'm Sara, and I'm so happy you're here!

 

I was the kid covering the walls in crayon doodles, completely convinced every blank space needed a little more color. After earning a degree in marketing, I spent a few years helping build other brands but I couldn't shake the feeling that I wanted to build something of my own. So I left my corporate job, and turned my love of being muddy (aka making pottery) into MuddyGirl Ceramics.

I believe the objects we use every day should make us smile. A morning coffee tastes a little sweeter from your favorite mug. A handmade bowl can make a simple meal feel like a special treat.

My hope is that every piece I make becomes part of your daily rituals, holds a memory, sparks a smile, and reminds you to slow down and find joy in the little things.
